UPDATE: Russia’s Finance Ministry places 14.2 bln rbl OFZ bonds

MOSCOW, Oct 24 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Finance Ministry placed 14.186 billion rubles worth of OFZ government bonds at two auctions on Wednesday, according to the materials of the ministry seen by PRIME.
At the first auction, the ministry placed 4.186 billion rubles worth of OFZ 26225 bonds maturing in May 2034 out of a 10 billion ruble offer. The cut-off yield stood at 8.69% annually and the weighted average yield amounted to 8.68% annually. Demand for the bonds totaled 9.529 billion rubles.
At the second auction, the ministry fully placed 10 billion rubles worth of OFZ 26223 bonds maturing in February 2024. The cut-off yield stood at 8.48% annually and the weighted average yield at 7.75% annually. Demand for the bonds totaled 25.569 billion rubles.
